Job Summary:
The Sports Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in assisting sports medicine professionals in providing comprehensive healthcare services to athletes and sports teams. The primary responsibility of the Sports Medicine Technologist is to support the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and conditions. 3. Assist in the design and implementation of individualized treatment plans for athletes, including therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation programs, and preventative measures.

3. Certification as a Sports Medicine Technologist or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) is required.
4. In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics related to sports injuries.
5. Proficiency in conducting and interpreting diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
6. Hands-on experience with therapeutic modalities, including electrotherapy, ultrasound, and cryotherapy.
